As per this article in The Courier Mail on Tuesday 17th September 2019 by Elizabeth Tilley, the number of homes sold under the hammer in Brisbane blitzed the competition at the weekend, with the auction clearance rate hitting its highest level in nearly two-and-a-half years.
The Queensland capital recorded an auction success rate of 57.1 per cent from 93 auctions – the best result since May 2017, when the clearance rate hit 59.6 per cent, according to preliminary figures from property researcher CoreLogic.
