We are excited to announce that our plans for Stage Two of the Narangba Heights Shopping Centre have been submitted to council for approval and that our plans for Stage One have been approved after spending years in the court system.
The amount of interest in the Shopping Centre has given us the confidence to increase the size and also the offerings of the Shopping Centre.
The Narangba Heights Shopping Centre site sits on 6.7 hectares of land at the entrance to our Narangba Heights residential estate, on the corner of Oakey Flat Road and Sovereign Drive in Narangba.
The proposed development provides for a range of retail, commercial, and other activities that cluster within an integrated and focused local Centre. The second stage of the Centre will expand on the range of retail stores offered within the initial approval, to further reinforce a neighbourhood activity node in this location, which is central to the local residential areas that it services. The Centre is planned to offer an amenity consistent with the character and expectations for a modern local centre in terms of its active street frontages and walkability, together with plenty of car parking spaces.
The plans for the First Stage of the Shopping Centre include a full-line Coles supermarket, service station, specialty retail, food, café, restaurant options and other commercial spaces.
Our plans for Stage Two include an Aldi, additional retail and commercial opportunities, along with a childcare centre and a range of other uses, including healthcare, indoor sports and recreation (such as a gym), and a tyre and auto centre.
Expansion of the Centre will provide the community with a greater range of retail and other shopping opportunities. The development is well-positioned to serve existing and future residents and the expansion will further enhance the amenity and conveniences for the area.
The application of Stage Two has been prepared to run independently and will run in parallel to the delivery of Stage One of the Centre. We are currently in discussions with builders working on the delivery of the Shopping Centre and Stage One is progressing well.
